Verizon offering Nokia 6315i music-focused clamshell



Verizon is offering the Nokia 6315i, a 3G music-oriented flip-phone originally produced by Pantech. The phone boasts music-dedicated buttons beneath the 65,000-color external display, and opens to reveal a 262,000-color screen. Users can connect to Verizon's V Cast using the phone's EV-DO capabilities. The phone can also use EV-DO for dial-up networking via a USB connection to your PC. The 1.3-megapixel camera has a built-in flash, and photos and music can be stored on the 21.5 MB of internal memory, or microSD cards. The phone packs an internal GPS receiver for navigation on Verizon's VZ Navigator service. Bluetooth, a speakerphone, and voice dialing are all standard.
