Samsung SGH-T329 entry-level clamshell

This fashionable phone features a curvy design, glossy finish and a VGA camera.
Design
This stylish clamshell resembles the Motorola PEBL with its curvy form factor, and also reminds us of the Kyocera Cyclops because of its center-striped face and vertical external display. That said, the Samsung SGH-T329 is attractive in its own right, donning a matte silver stripe, on an elegant, pearlescent white shell. The vertical external display like the Cyclops and the PEBL is unfortunately monochrome. While the phone is a bit thicker than many of Samsung's latest handsets, the T329 felt light and comfortable in our hand.
Features
The T329 is a basic handset without any 3G capabilities, since it will be carried by T-Mobile (we can expect to see it by the end of next month). It features Samsung's usual easy-to-use interface and a VGA camera. The clamshell's keypad is also attractive and is easy on the fingertips with large well-spaced buttons. The phone also includes standard calling features, such as Bluetooth and a speakerphone.
Pros:
Stylish curvy design. Comfortable, roomy keypad. Simple interface.
Cons:
No 3G capabilities. Monochrome external display.
Conclusion:
The Samsung SGH-T329 picks up where the Motorola PEBL and Kyocera Cyclops left off by serving up a more elegant shell and profile. The flip phone's menu is simple and basic but the phone still offers up features like a speakerphone, Bluetooth and a VGA camera.
