Nokia, Yahoo! partner on mobile messaging

In other Nokia news, the company announced it would expand its existing partnership with Yahoo! to include Yahoo! Mail and Messenger services on its Series 40 platform mobile handsets. ''Our extended partnership with Nokia will allow tens of millions of people to access their favorite Yahoo! services on the move,'' Yahoo! senior VP of connected life Marco Boerries said in a prepared statement. ''Yahoo is looking forward to continuing to work with Nokia to bring users compelling mobile Internet services on an even wider range of handsets.'' Nokia declined to disclose financial terms of the deal. It first teamed with Yahoo! in April 2005.
