P910

15th July 2004

The Sony Ericsson P910i is an upgrade of the popular P900 model, this time sporting a QWERTY keyboard, a better screen, more memory and an improved software package.

The QWERTY keyboard is impressive - it's fitted to the back of the P910i's flip mechanism, allowing easy typing of emails, text messages or documents. The numeric keypad on the front of the P910i has also been improved from the P900.

Sony Ericsson have boosted the colours on the large 208x320 pixel touch-sensitive display to 262,000 colours, and upgraded the internal memory to 64Mb. Memory on the P910i can be expanded using Sony Memory Stick Duo cards up to a maximum of 1Gb. Combine this with the P910i's impressive audio and video playback facilities, and you have a powerful media device.

The P910i now comes with support for corporate messaging systems such as Blackberry, and also comes with a range of free and trial applications so that users can come to grips with the P910's powerful Symbian v7.0 operating system.

The handset also features a VGA resolution digitial camera, Bluetooth, infra-red and USB connectivity, a docking station/desk stand, carry case and software to enable easy synchronisation with a PC or Mac.

The Sony Ericsson P910i also features a version of the powerful Opera web browser and an email client, enabling you to stay connected and in touch wherever you go with GPRS.
