The Nokia 7270 is an elegant clamshell phone, perhaps the replacement for Nokia first mass-market clamshell, the 7200. Part of the Nokia 7260/7270/7280 series of products, the 7270 stands out by being practical, attractive and fairly capable at the same time.
Primarily, the 7270 is designed to be a fashion phone, however behind the interesting styling, the Nokia 7270 is pretty much a standard low-end clamshell, and in specification terms in not much better than the odd-looking Nokia 2650.
The 7270's screen is 128x160 pixels in 65,000 colours, with a VGA resolution digital camera (640x480 pixels) that can take video clips. There's a smaller external display too. This is a tri-band GSM phone supporting GPRS, EDGE and HSCSD data. The Nokia 7270 features Push-To-Talk (PTT), an XHTML browser, email support and all the ususual things like MMS. The 7270 also has Java and polyphonic ringtones, PC synchronisation and voice commands. There's no Bluetooth or removable memory though (even though the 7270 features digital rights management control for media playback).
