There's a 128x128 pixel display in 65,000 colours, GPRS, MMS, flashing LED effects, a WAP 1.2 browser, Java, downloadable polyphonic ringtones and some PIM functionality, along with a set of other which mean that the Nokia 2652 covers most of the basics. There's no Bluetooth, camera or MP3 player, and it's only a dual-band 900/1800 GSM device.. but remember, this is a 100 Euro phone.
Nokia say that they are aiming this at ''emerging markets'', and they specifically mention Africa, China and the Middle East in addition to Europe. European customers can expect to see this available on prepay where it promises to offer very good value for money. Shipping is expected to being in October this year.
