WAP

WAP, the Wireless Application Protocol, is a standard method for using WML, an XML based markup language, to define documents and applications to be viewed on the small displays used by mobile devices. WAP browsers have largely been pushed aside by newer browsers that support cHTML, xHTML, and HTML.
